What is the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai about?
Now in its second year, the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai is an iconic women-only race series created for women and powered by Nike.
Unapologetically crafted for women, the Nike After Dark Tour brings together women runners of all backgrounds and abilities for a distinctive nighttime race experience that blends sport, culture and community. Designed to celebrate women in running, the event fosters community, self-expression and self-belief, helping participants feel seen, supported and motivated. Informed by insights from women athletes, the Nike After Dark Tour reflects Nike’s commitment to creating meaningful sport experiences that support, challenge and empower women through innovation and community-led design.
Will the event still proceed if there is inclement weather?
Participant, staff and spectators safety is our priority. The event is expected to proceed as scheduled in the event of weather disturbances. However, in extreme weather conditions, including severe thunderstorms, high winds or other hazardous conditions that may endanger participants, the community, staff or organisers, Nike reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel the event.
How can I change/update my personal information after registering?
Please note that certain personal information (such as participant name or nominated age category) may not be changed once registration has been completed.
I am no longer able to attend, what are my options?
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting any rights that cannot be excluded, all entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. The entry fee will not be refunded if the participant is unable to participate due to personal circumstances (including illness, injury, surgery, scheduling conflicts, or a change of mind), or if the event is postponed, modified, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond Nike’s reasonable control, including extreme weather, public safety concerns, or government directives. Nike is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including travel or accommodation expenses in connection with a postponed, modified or cancelled event.
When can I expect to receive race event information?
General information regarding the event will be made available on the ADT website in the weeks leading up to race day. Additional event communications, including key dates and participant updates, will be sent to the registered participants via their registered email address in the weeks leading up to race day.

What is the event address?
The Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai venue is TBC. Additional information will be shared through official Nike channels.
The Expo
What are the event start / end times?
The expo and bib collection timings will be communicated to the participants closer to race day. Kindly note that the participants cannot collect their race – day bib on the day of the race. Participants are not allowed to participate in the race without the race–day bib.
How do I collect my bib/race tee?
Participant race – day bibs and event t-shirts can be collected from the expo at Venue TBC. Participants are requested to bring their registration confirmation and a valid government photo ID proof, to collect their race pack.
I'm not able to collect my race-day bib, t-shirt during the expo/collection hours - what can I do?
If a registered participant cannot collect their race-day bib and T-shirt, they may nominate another person to collect them on their behalf. The nominated person must provide a copy of the participant’s confirmation email, a handwritten and signed authorisation letter, and a copy of the participant’s original government ID proof.
Are there any items I am prohibited from bringing to the event?
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, staff and spectators, items that are offensive, dangerous, hazardous, illegal, or that Nike reasonably considers could be used as a weapon or compromise safety at the venue, are not permitted.
Members of the public and /or the Participants may not use video devices, computers, drones, unmanned aerial devices, or similar equipment on or near the Race course.
Will there be a bra fitting service at the event?
Yes, there will be a complimentary bra fitting service at the expo.
Will there be a Nike retail offering at the event?
Yes. There will be After Dark Tour apparel along with other Nike products at the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai expo.
Transport and Getting There
How do I get to the start line or finish line?
Please note that parking will not be available. Participants are advised to use taxi services or public transportation to reach the start or finish line.
Will there be road closures?
Yes, there will be a perimeter around the start line, finish line and the course of the race course that will be closed off to the general public.
Will local traffic be impacted by the event?
Heavy traffic and road closures are expected.
Where can I park?
The event venue will not have any official parking and participants are advised to not travel by private car or transport.
Are there any dedicated drop off zones?
No. There are no dedicated drop-off zones at the venue.
Race Day
Will there be a baggage drop service?
Yes, a baggage drop service will be available for participants to store their belongings. Participants can use the baggage drop service at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nike is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, delay, or misplacement of items left at the baggage drop. Baggage will be available at the finish line no earlier than three hours after the race start time.
Are there any rules/guidelines associated with the baggage drop service?
Valuable items, such as cell phones and laptops or items weighing more than 5kgs, will not be accepted at the baggage drop service.
What to expect at the start line?
A large number of participants are expected at the start line. Participants are requested to allow extra time and be patient and courteous with fellow runners and event staff. Useful tips:
- Hydrate well and complete their warm-up before heading to the start line.
- Listen to the emcee and event notifications for wave and start instructions.
Participants will be allocated a start wave based on the finish time nominated during the registration. Waves will depart in staggered intervals to ensure space on course. Participants must arrive at the Race start point at least 60 minutes before the Race begins. A participant’s personal race time starts once the participant crosses the timing mat, also referred to as a mat start.
Will there be waves?
Yes, there will be different waves designated according to the estimated finish time as submitted at the time of registration.
What start wave am I in?
During the race bib pickup, participants will receive a bracelet indicating their respective wave.
What happens if I miss my wave start or start in the wrong wave?
Participants who do not start within 30 minutes of their designated Race start time will be disqualified and, for safety reasons, may not be permitted to start.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- your race bib, worn on the front of your outfit.
- government photo ID proof.
- food/ drinks for personal nutrition and hydration.
Participants are requested to complete the back of their race bib with important information, including emergency contact details, allergies, medical conditions, and current medications. This is essential for first aid teams in case of an emergency.
Participants should ensure that they have reviewed the baggage drop guidelines and have dropped their bag off, prior to arriving at the start line.
Are there changing facilities at the start/finish?
Standard and accessible portable toilet facilities will be available at the start area. Due to the high volume of participants, there may be queues, so participants are recommended to use the restroom at home before heading out and allowing extra time for a bathroom stop, if needed.
The Race
What is the race course overview?
Race course TBC. The route will be announced closer to race day.
Do I need to book a certain pace to participate?
While participants are required to select a certain pace during the time of registration, to experience the whole race-course over the 10k journey, participants must complete the course within two hours.
Will there be pacers/pace groups?
Yes. Nike Pacers will support a range of target finish times. Whether participants are a first-time runners or aiming for the next milestone finish time/personal best, there will be a pacer option for all.
Pacers will be easily identifiable by flags displaying target finish times.
What if I can't finish?
Participant safety and wellbeing is paramount. If the participant requires to withdraw from the race, please notify the nearest marshal or member of the medical team as soon as possible. Course marshals and mobile medics will be on patrol along the course and will assist participants, including helping them to reach the finish line safely, if required.
Are there any measures in place to prevent course overcrowding?
The starting waves are planned to avoid overcrowding during the race so everyone can have a great experience.
Can I wear headphones?
Yes, participants may wear headphones, but are advised to keep the volume low enough to hear course marshals, safety announcements, and fellow runners.
Are there prizes for the winners of the race?
No, there are no prizes for winners of the race.
Are there costume restrictions?
Whilst costumes are permitted, offensive clothing, signage or accessories and clothing, signage or accessories with unauthorised commercial or promotional content are strictly prohibited. This includes clothing, signage or accessories with:
- obscene, discriminatory, or offensive (including politically offensive) messages.
- messages that could be deemed divisive, provocative, or inappropriate for a public, family-friendly event.
- unauthorised commercial or promotional messages from third party companies, including Nike competitors.
Participants in breach may be disqualified and/or removed from the course at the discretion of race officials.
Security and event organisers have the right to refuse entry on the basis of a participant wearing or carrying any items of clothing, signage or accessories deemed offensive, dangerous, hazardous, illegal, or that Nike reasonably considers could be used as a weapon or compromise safety.
Will there be any hydration/nutrition stations on the course?
Yes, there will be hydration stations located every 2.5kms, on the race course.
What health and safety measures are in place at the event?
Participants are required to complete and follow the below directions before the race:
- Complete their emergency contact details on their race bib.
- Not to race if unwell or experience fever or gastrointestinal symptoms prior to 48 hours of the race.
- Consult their doctor if unsure about participation.
Participants are required to follow the below directions during the race:
- If a participant is injured or requires any medical assistance, first aid stations are located at the start, on the course and at the finish line of the race: (2,4,6,8, and 10 KM)
- Mobile medics will be on patrol to assist participants as required
- Participants should alert a marshal immediately, if assistance is required.
Event medical personnel may also examine any participant who appears to be in distress. If authorized medical personnel determine, in their sole opinion, that removal is in the participant’s best interests for health or welfare reasons, they may remove the participant from the Event. Participants are responsible for, and assume liability for, all medical costs incurred in connection with training for or participating in the Event, including ambulance transport, hospital stays, medicines, physician services, and pharmaceutical goods and services.
The participants are requested to follow the following guidelines upon finishing their race:
- Keep moving through the chute.
- Seek medical support if feeling unwell.
Post Race
What to expect at the finish line?
All participants upon crossing the finish line will receive:
- water
- electrolytes and
- the official finisher's medal.
Participants should continue moving through the finish chute to support runner flow and recovery. Participants are requested to join the after race celebration upon completion of the race.
How and when will I receive my race results?
Participants will receive information regarding their race results 3 days after race day. Official finishing times for all runners are based on chip time/net time, measured from when the runner crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. Decisions of Nike and Event officials regarding official finishing times are final and binding on participants.
Is there an official race app?
No. There is no official After Dark Tour app. All participants must visit the Nike After Dark website for all key event updates and information. Additionally, participants are requested to check their registered email address for further communication.
Will there be photography during the race?
Yes. Official race photographers will be on course and at the finish line.
How do I access my race photos?
Information relating to accessing race photography will be updated on the event website closer to race day.
Is there a lost and found / lost property service?
A lost and found service will be available at the baggage drop area at the venue. However, Nike does not accept responsibility for lost items or provide any assurance that lost items will be recovered.
What to expect at the post-race celebration?
After crossing the finish line, each participant will be a part of the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai Post-Race Celebration.
Participants can celebrate their achievement with:
- Food.
- Recovery at the recovery zone.
- Live music on the main stage.
Single entry will be granted only via the race bib, for the live music on the main stage.
More information with respect to the post-race celebration will be provided closer to race day.
Can supporters attend the post-race celebration?
No, the post – race celebration is reserved for registered race participants only. Friends and family will not be allowed to attend post-race celebrations.
Training
How do I access the training program?
The Nike Run Club App has everything a participant needs to start running, keep running, and prepare for the Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai. Participants are encouraged to download the app to access the official Nike After Dark Tour training plan.
Additional Questions
How will participants be informed in real time if the event is delayed, paused, or cancelled during race day?
The safety staff will communicate all relevant safety instructions and event updates to participants via their registered email addresses and, where applicable, through WhatsApp, subject to the participant’s consent to receive communications from Nike. The safety of the participants, staff and spectators is a top priority for Nike.
Will Nike or its partners use photos or videos of participants for marketing purposes?
